We are seeking an experienced Accountant in Real Estate, Trading, Developments, Hedge Funds, and Multiple Entities to join our team! Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns.
Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity, and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations
*Responsibilities*
* Properly updating/using multiple QuickBooks
* Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Reconciling several checking accounts for multiple companies
* Manage and maintain the hedge fund accounts
* Give a status and detailed report to the client/fund investor about the performance of the respective hedge fund account monthly
* Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
* Preparing Yearly Financial Reports
* Allocate cash receipts per location and properly recording them in QuickBooks
* Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
* Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
* Report analysis and findings to the management team
* Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
* Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
* Audit financial transactions and documents
* Comply with financial policies and regulations
*Requirements*
* 2+ Years of Accounting job experience is Required
* Bachelor's Degree is Required
* CPA license with no claim history is Preferred
* Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
* Experience in Real Estate, Trading, Hedge Fund, Developments, and Import and Export.
* Discretion and Confidentiality when working with sensitive information
* Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
* Advanced MS Excel skills
* Experience with general ledger
* Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
* Pass a criminal background check and drug test before starting
* Excellent accounting experience in State and Federal Regulations
