Responsibilities Position Summary: Ascension is looking for an experienced healthcare marketing manager to shape and drive our strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional healthcare marketing, specifically medical group and employed clinician promotion, provider engagement as well as business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Support the development and execution of strategic plans for the promotion of the local medical group and employed clinicians - including new provider promotion and onboarding, matching capacity to prospective opportunities, and providing marketing support for physician relations and business development plans.
Business Acumen and Analytics: Support alignment with strategy on meeting business projections and targets including fluency in business analytics for volume, capacity and readiness.
Marketing Planning and Activation: Support best practice and digital marketing planning recommendations for the appropriate media mix performance and consumer journey for priority services, programs and providers at enterprise scale.
Support direction of implementation of tactics to fulfill plans.
Marketing Content: Support online content and SEO for provider profiles and online bios - including photos, videos, online scheduling and other assets.
Collaborate with Ascension data science and technology teams as well as credentialing and MedStaff to ensure all employed provider information is accurate and up to date at all times.
Schedule and coordinate photo and video shoots as needed.
Provider Marketing: Lead strategic marketing initiatives and activation to promote all employed clinicians in the market, optimize marketing for clinicians with appointment availability and position differentiating providers in the marketplace.
Business Development: Guide physician relations and direct marketing efforts with digital marketing, collateral, social media and other tactics - in close collaboration with Strategy and Business Development teams.
Marketing Collaboration: Work closely and in real time with Demand Marketing and Marketing Performance leaders to ensure effective, efficient plan implementation and real-time iteration.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and business development, to ensure alignment and execution of strategic plans.
#marketingcommunications Requirements Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences Qualifications: Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
An MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Strategic Leadership: A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in strategic planning, with a track record of leading and executing strategic initiatives within complex organizations.
Previous experience in a DTC brand, healthcare, hospitality, or financial services industry is a significant advantage.
Strategic Thinking: Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans that align with organizational goals.
Project Management: Exceptional and proven project management skills and attention to detail, including the ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute complex strategic initiatives.
Ability to organize, process and manage multiple projects with multiple levels of deliverables at any time.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies to both internal and external stakeholders.
Results-Driven: A results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to drive measurable business outcomes through strategic planning and execution.
