As an Accounts Payable Coordinator on the Accounting team, a typical day for you will include:
Make sure that invoices match the corresponding purchase orders before processing them.
Verify that all invoices and reimbursements have the necessary documentation and approvals before processing them.
Enter accounting documents into the system, such as invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments.
Review and balance batches of transactions, and then post them to the general ledger.
Generate cash requirements reports and print checks weekly, with proper authorization and documentation.
Investigate and resolve any questions or issues related to invoices and check processing, and provide timely responses to internal and external inquiries.
Run reports to track the status of invoices and expense reports, and complete follow-ups with vendors and personnel as needed to ensure timely processing.

(Required qualifications)
Experience: 1 year of experience working in accounts payable.
Skills:
Strong mathematical skills
Mastery of MS Office
Great Plains Accounting Software and Concur Invoice and Expense Processing Software
Organized and detail-oriented
Self-starter and autonomous
Pressure-resistant and deadline-driven
Sense of humor
Education: Associate's degree in accounting or related field
Schedule / in-office requirements: Hybrid (Irving, TX)
