Job Summary: Serves as primary point of contact and support for students, faculty and Independent School District administration and staff, facilitating academic needs and striving to make the transition between high school and post-secondary options seamless.
Minimum Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, instruction or a related field.
Preferred: Master’s degree.
Minimum Required Experience:
Three to five years instructional, administrative and/or administrative support experience.
Familiar with technology and the application of technology.
Preferred: Work experience in secondary or higher education.

Essential Job Functions:
Serves as a highly visible customer service-oriented ambassador of Hill College who builds strong relationships with dual credit and non-dual credit students, and ISD and Hill College faculty, staff, and administration.
Assists with all aspects of dual credit partnerships with ISDs.
Assists prospective and current students with applications for admission, scholarships, financial aid and/or graduation.
Communicates and assists students regarding next steps, such as choice of major, academic planning, testing, registration, and completion.
Serves as the liaison between prospective and current students as well as for dual credit faculty and ISD administration, facilitating access to career and college information and services.
Identifies and refers international, veteran, athletic, scholarship, financial aid, and other identifiable population students to the appropriate Hill College faculty and/or staff member.
Conducts initial application, advising and registration assistance by introducing students to student navigators, advisors, or coordinators as well as instructing students with navigation in the use of the student portal, email, learning management and other college systems.
Assists faculty with roster certification, grade reporting, learning management and other college systems.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, ISD partners and other constituents.
Participates in professional development and conducts presentations for students, parents and ISD partners.
Works with school district and instructional division to assess needs and lead the development and implementation of programs and courses in response to those needs.
Ensure compliance with high school and college state and other standards.
Other Information:
Weekend and evening work during designated times.
Travel to other Hill College locations as needed.
Must have valid Texas driver’s license.
Security sensitive position.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Light work: exerting up to twenty pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
The use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of force greater than that for Sedentary Work.
