Additional reporting to Williamson County Conservation Foundation (WCCF) Board.
Responsible for providing executive administrative support to assist with daily operations and interdepartmental and external stakeholder issues for the WCCF.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Assists in annual budget process by collaborating with department leadership on equipment needs, Capital Improvement Project costs, and other departmental cost for budget developmentPerforms purchasing coordination for the department, to include reconciliation/oversight of p-card use, requisition approvals, processing invoices, management of relationships with suppliers, liaison with County A/P and Purchasing departments, and preparation of end-of-fiscal year reportingManages accounts payable and receivable by tracking receipts, and treasury deposits, balancing discrepancy resolutions, and managing various spreadsheets and office supply budget and is point of contact for internal county auditsProvides support and oversight for special projects and initiativesAssists with all incoming phone calls, visitors, e-mails, appointment requests, and media inquiriesParticipates in long-range planning and developments of strategies/tactics to achieve WCCF goalsCreates and maintains various reports, forms, worksheets, and informational materialsProvides insight and guidance for consideration in policy and procedure developmentPublic outreach planning and scheduling (including volunteer coordination, Texas Conservation Symposium, etc.
)Coordinates with County Public Information Office in the development and distribution of news releases and other public media messagingUpdates and maintains website.
Processes plan participant applications, including providing updates on application statusPerforms land management staff scheduling and coordinationFacilitates internal and external trainings (i.
e.
, Leave No Trace, Dept.
