Vintage Ceramic Soap Holder - $15 (McGregor)

This ceramic soap holder was in the bathroom of my husband's parents' house in the West University area of Houston.
It was original with the 1940's house.
All new homes had built-in soap and toothbrush holders.
They were attached to the tile wall with grout.
We removed the soap holder (and the toothbrush holder - (on Craigslist as well) when the house was demolished in favor of a large house being built in the revived neighborhood.
There is a small chip on the top left corner (shown in the picture).
What a fun thing to hang on the wall as a little shelf or ledge for a picture or fun memory item! Come see it.
