Program Specialists provide experiential activities and facilitate a powerful learning opportunity for participants of all ages during Summer Day Camp.
Essential Functions:
Safely facilitate Tower activities
Inspect climbing equipment and hardware daily
Document equipment usage reporting any issues to supervisor
Exhibit teamwork and good communication with Camp Staff
Provide active supervision of a group of children during a specialty class/program
Ability to relate well to children, to communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, other staff, and Y leadership
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
Previous Ropes Course/Rock Climbing/Target Sports experience preferred but not required
Ability and willingness to work outside in the Texas summer heat
Able to pass a background check and drug test
Pay Rate: $15.
