Babysitter/Nanny
Duties:
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as games, crafts, and educational play
- Supervise and monitor children's activities at all times
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring they are nutritious and suitable for their dietary needs
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, such as tidying up play areas and washing dishes used during mealtime
- Follow parents' instructions regarding daily routines, including nap times, homework assistance, and bedtime routines
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding the children's well-being and any concerns or updates
Skills:
- Experience caring for children of various ages, from toddlers to school-aged children
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
- Proficient in basic babysitting techniques, including diaper changing, bottle feeding, and soothing techniques
- Ability to create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Excellent communication skills, both with children and parents/guardians
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Flexibility in adapting to different family dynamics and household routines
