The Toasted Yolk Cafe is seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to assist in operating a fun and energetic brunch location in Waco, TX.

GM* Job Description - _*SALARY + QUARTERLY PERFORMANCE BONUS*_ *Principal Duties and Responsibilities – Essential Functions* _*1.
Assisting Management with Daily Operational Requirements*_ § Follows company procedures and standards in coaching, teaching, and training staff.
§ Monitors and supervises execution of assigned areas of responsibility including product quality and recipe compliance.
§ Knowledgeable of schedules and business trends to staff restaurant § Reviews the walk-in and assists with product movement.
§ Reviews prep sheet and coaches on proper utilization.
§ Proficient in all prep areas and follows all recipes using the proper recipes.
§ Teaches food prep and execution effectively.
§ Knowledgeable of all positions in the back of the house and FOH § Proficient in company specifications on dry goods, groceries, and produce.
Orders and receives goods, not limited to wine, liquor, and beer, ensuring quality and accuracy.
§ Ability to work shoulder to shoulder with management to ensure quality and execution § Ability to spot sale trends and being able to adapt.
§ Focus on fast, friendly service emphasizing Guest Service is a core component of TTY culture.
§ Ensures a member of management is always engaged on the floor and talking with every table and guest § Oversee and take responsibility for guest reviews and comments.
Formulates a system to monitor all social media and follow up when needed when experiences don’t match our expectations § Guarantees 100% guest satisfaction § Promotes a healthy positive work environment § Recognizes and develops existing staff into shift leaders and managers _*2.
Cleanliness and Sanitation*_ § Monitors and ensures set up of sanitation tools § Follows standardized cleaning procedures and practices the “clean-as-you-go” philosophy.
§ Responsible for following all food safety and sanitation standards throughout the shift.
§ Follows FIFO and keeps up with proper product dating and rotation requirements.
§ Monitors and supervises departmental closing procedures.
§ Monitors and supervises daily cleaning assignment(s).

Organization*_ § Maintains organization throughout the shift in work areas, server stations, and dry storage areas.
§ Stores all items in their designated labeled areas and maintains a clutter-free work area.
§ Coaches on proper organization and challenges managers to maintain standards _*4.
Teamwork*_ § Is a Role Model § Has the ability to explain, demonstrate, and take initiative § Shows ability for self improvement § Assists other team members when necessary.

*Job Specifications:* * Must be at least 18 years of age * Must be trustworthy and pass a background check and have a clean record for the past 7 years * Must be flexible in scheduling and able to work both opening and closing shifts * Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed * Must be assertive and possess leadership qualities and be able to deal with guest and employee situations in a calm and professional manner * Must have good organizational skills, good cleanliness standards, good awareness, and attention to detail * Must be able to function well under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Must have good organizational skills * Must be proficient in time management and multi-tasking * Must be certified with Serve Safe and TABC * Must be a team player and willing to help out anywhere as needed * Must be able to work with minimal supervision and achieve desired results * Must be able to lift up to 40lbs as well as stand on feet for long periods of time up to 8 hours * Must be able to speak, understand, and read the English language * A high school diploma or GED is preferred * Must have experience working in a commercial foodservice kitchen Job Type: Full-time Salary: $50,000.
