STAGING WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE | JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY
At Magnolia, the Staging Warehouse Associate is responsible for providing support, coordination, and logistics for several entities across the company including Staging and Styling, Design, Merchandising, Visuals, Events, and Photography.
This position manages inventory, truck logistics, distribution operations, policies and procedures of the Magnolia Staging Warehouse, and moving and hauling.
This is not a Styling role.
This position works from various locations in Waco, Texas.
It reports to the Staging Operations Manager and does not have supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Uphold Magnolia’s manifesto and values
• Lift and assemble furniture
• Pack and load furniture and staging items into moving trucks and drive the trucks to locations both inside and outside of McLennan County limits
• Unload truck contents, unpack, and set up items according to Stylist or Designers specifications at staging locations
• Inventory items leaving the Warehouse, describe the condition prior to moving, and check that items are undamaged upon return
• Coordinate receiving, warehousing, distribution, and shipping operations of the Staging Warehouse
• Assemble new inventory upon receipt to the Warehouse, inspect for damage, and organize as appropriate
• Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse and its equipment and inventory; ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and in compliance with appropriate safety standards
• Coordinate larger furniture returns with vendors and update documentation once returns are made
• Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
• Hard Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Platforms preferred; prior experience in Airtable or comparable warehouse inventory management platform preferred
• Soft Skills: Strong verbal communication skills
• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Experience: 1 year of warehouse, staging, or inventory management experience preferred
• Special training or licenses/certifications: Valid Texas Driver’s license required
• This position is required to drive an 18’ box truck.
Magnolia’s insurance policy requires all insured drivers to be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle.
• General availability: Must be available to work flexible hours as assigned, including evenings, weekends, and special events
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; use hands and arms to reach, handle, feel; utilize fine motor dexterity of fingers; talk or hear and taste or smell.
The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The employee is expected to utilize team lifting techniques when lifting bulky items or items weighing above 50 pounds and up to 120 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

The employee will be exposed to dusts, fumes, vapors, or mists that could affect the occupational health of the employee.
