*Guest Services Agent FT* *Summary* Hotel Herringbone, an exceptional boutique hotel nestled in downtown Waco, is seeking a dynamic and personable Guest Services Agent to join our dedicated guest service and front office team.
As a Guest Services Agent, you will be an integral part of creating unforgettable guest experiences from pre-arrival to post-departure.
You will provide our guests with a level of hospitality that exceeds their expectations, ensuring a seamless and extraordinary stay.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (including but not limited to…)* * Warmly welcome guests and provide a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
* Engage with guests from diverse backgrounds and anticipate their needs and preferences.
* Deliver personalized and exceptional service throughout a guest's stay, including assistance with inquiries and unexpressed wishes.
* Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
* Assist guests with reservations, transportation, and special requests.
* Handle bell, porter & concierge related responsibilities.
* Handle guest concerns and ensure prompt resolution, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
* Maintain accurate guest records and process payments accurately.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth guest service operations.
* Create an environment that delights, excites, and surprises guests to craft the ultimate guest experience.
* Embrace a flexible approach to working hours, including shifts, weekends, and occasional late-night work.
* Utilize property management systems (PMS), preferably Cloudbeds, to manage guest information and requests.
*QUALIFICATIONS* * Proven track record in a Guest Service/Experience Agent, Bell or Door Assistant, or Guest/Customer Relations role.
* Ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds.
* Experience in the boutique or 'Lifestyle' hotel sector is preferred.
* Diverse lifestyle skills, including those in the arts, music, or entertainment industries, are welcomed.
* Exceptional multitasking abilities and a highly organized approach.
* Fluency in English is essential for this role, and proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
* Prior experience with property management systems (PMS), especially Cloudbeds, is advantageous.
* Highly social, motivated, and proactive, with a professional and positive demeanor.
* Flexibility in working hours to accommodate shifts, weekends, and occasional late-night work.

* Flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays.
* May require standing for extended periods and require mobility to access all areas of the property.
* Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.

*HOURS & COMPENSATION* This is a full-time position with competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.
The role requires a flexible approach to working hours, including shifts, weekends, and occasional late-night shifts.
