Class A CDL Driver - Portable Buildings

Lone Star Shed Haulers specializes in the delivery of Derksen Portable Buildings in the Central Texas area.
We are looking for a reliable Class A CDL driver to join our driving team.
We are looking for a quick learner with a go-getter attitude.
The main responsibilities of our driving crew are as follows: * Safely load, strap, and haul portable buildings from our manufacturing facility and sales lots to customers’ properties * Use hydraulic shed trailer and Mule Shed Mover to unload and maneuver building to customer’s desired location * Use cinderblocks to properly block and level building to customer’s desired height * Read and execute DOT permits to ensure safe and legal transport of oversized loads * Upkeep all equipment by inspecting it daily and performing preventative maintenance as needed * Document and log work/rest periods and miles driven as mandated by DOT.
*Required Qualifications:* * Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record * Minimum of 1 year of CDL experience * Ability to lift at least 50 pounds * Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions * Critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Ability to perform preventative maintenance on equipment * MUST BE RELIABLE * A resume detailing past work experience is required to be considered *Preferred Qualifications:* * Oversize load experience * Experience hauling portable buildings or mobile homes This position is based out of McGregor, TX and is Monday – Friday home daily.
Pay is a percentage based system – the more you haul, the more you make.
All equipment is provided, but we are open to a contract position if you have your own professional shed hauling equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $55,000.
