HAUL TRUCK DRIVER/EQUIPMENT HAULER (LORENA, TX) (Lorena)

Big Creek Construction is currently taking applications for Haul Truck Drivers/Equipment Hauler in the Lorena Tx area.
Job Summary: Responsible for operating a Haul Truck to properly maintain and transport Heavy Equipment or Materials to designated location in a timely manner.
Job Description • Perform inspections of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights, turn signals and brakes • Experience with loading equipment and ensuring it is properly loaded and secure according to safety requirements • Communicate with Dispatcher and other Haul Truck Drivers using communication devices such as a two-ways radio or onboard computers • Properly follow all company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment.
• Report any problems to your manager.
• Perform daily pre & post- trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines and company policies.
• Obey applicable laws and follow dispatch instructions.
• Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs.
• Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the Supervisor.
• Must keep truck in a clean and orderly condition.
• When working with co-workers, constant eye contact will be maintained when backing, communicating using hand signals or other movements.
• Follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite.
• Assist in training less experienced employees on the proper operations, servicing and repair of equipment to further their abilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications • Have a Class A CDL License (REQUIRED) • Minimum of 5 Years Experience in RGN Lowboy, Stepdeck, Flatbed (REQUIRED) • No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years (REQUIRED) • Pass a “Fit for Work” Physical (REQUIRED) • Pass a Drug/Alcohol Test (REQUIRED) Apply online at www.
