Waco Transit System has immediate openings for Fixed Route Bus Operators.
This position is responsible for providing fixed route service to the citizens of Waco and surrounding communities in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
Applicants must have a friendly, positive attitude and be willing to provide minimal assistance to passengers when necessary.
Salary begins at $18.
00 per hour after training is completed and includes two raises within the first year.
Experience in the passenger transportation industry is preferred, but not required.
The qualified applicant must pass a D.
O.
T.
physical/drug screen, background check and have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a licensed driver.
A Class B CDL license with Passenger Endorsement is required.
