OTR Truck Driver

Duties: - Safely operate a delivery truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and proper functioning - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks - Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs - Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery details - Handle any necessary paperwork or documentation related to deliveries Qualifications: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role - Knowledge of operating heavy equipment, such as roll-off trucks or dump trucks, is preferred - Ability to safely load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment - Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines - Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members - Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of loading and unloading cargo - Attention to detail and accuracy in completing paperwork and maintaining records Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
