To meet our qualifications: · 25 years of age or older with Social Security Card.
· Must have CDL A · Must have current DOT medical card · Able to pass a drug test, background check, and DMV check.
· Must have a ¾ or 1-ton dually 2016 or newer truck or a BIG RIG · Must have one of the following: o 35’+5’ trailer o 40’ trailer o 48’ or 53’ Flatbed o 48’ or 53’ StepDeck · Clean MVR- (Your driving record cannot have any speeding tickets, accidents, or moving violations for the last 3 years that are verifiable by your state DMV) · Must have a MINIMUM of 1 YEAR experience.
· Must be willing to do OTR and usually be out a MINIMUM of 2 weeks at a time before returning home.
· be physically able to perform daily duties including tarping, chaining, binding, and strapping.
· Must have a basic understanding of DOT Hour of Service and willingness to abide by them.
· Must have a basic knowledge of ELDs.
· Clean driving record and a commitment to safety · Reliable and well-maintained equipment · Strong work ethic and professionalism · Excellent communication and customer service skills · Previous experience as an OTR owner-operator preferred · Knowledge of route driving and familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns · Experience operating heavy equipment, such as roll-off trucks, dump trucks, or forklifts, is a plus · Ability to safely lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading materials Duties: · Load and unload materials and equipment onto trucks · Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including delivery trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and forklifts · Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient and timely delivery · Ensure proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transportation · Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations · Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays · Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery details and address any issues or concerns Join our team of skilled and dedicated flat Flatbed/StepDeck/HotShot Owner Operators and unlock the potential for a rewarding and prosperous career.
