CLASS A TRUCK DRIVER (LORENA, TX/WACO, TX) (Lorena)

Big Creek Construction, a road and bridge construction company, is now hiring Class A CDL Drivers based out of Waco/Lorena Texas.
Job Summary: Responsible of transporting material to designated location in a timely manner.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Safely Operate Class A truck to transport asphalt or aggregate to job site • Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit report indicating truck condition • Maintain Driver Log according to DOT requirements • Willing to travel and work away from home when required • Report to work at the designated start time • Be able to work overtime and weekends when required • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing • Ability to read maps and navigate to new locations • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times Qualifications: • Must have a Class A-CDL License (REQUIRED) • Must be able to drive a Standard Transmission (REQUIRED) • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years (REQUIRED) • Pass a pre-employment "Fit for Work" physical (REQUIRED) • Pass a drug and alcohol test (REQUIRED) EOE Minorities and Women Encouraged to Apply EOE To apply go online to our website www.
