Yes we travel for work, with the amount of volume we can do when theres not enough materials and projects so its impossible to stay in 1 area.
Our best 3 months was 300k and close to 100k posts driven.
not looking to be that busy but thats what can be done with the heavy equipment we have.
We dont use tractors but heavily modified skid steers able to push serious volumes of posts and roll out wire.
on larger projects ready to go can get up to a 1/4 mile per day, and at times per hour.
the days of the horse and buggy are gone.
all of our machines push 100hp to 150hp, weigh 14k to 20k, most are steel tracked, and have the same pushing force as a d6 cat and can reach 25mph.
So yes we charge more per day but can do the work it would take a tractor and some hands a few weeks to get done.
this isnt a hoby but a business to help veterans and those in need to get work and to provide a service to farmers and ranchers that havent been able fence due to terain and soil.
