What We Are Looking For
The Academic Integrity Legal Associate serves within the Division of Student Life in the Student Conduct Administration department and reports to the Office Manager.
This position will work closely with the Office of Academic Integrity Director and Conduct Officers and has communication with students and other constituents.
The position processes reports and data as it relates to Honor Code violations.
This person must have the ability to work well within a team, the ability to demonstrate good judgment under pressure, well organized with attention to detail, and demonstrate integrity and confidentiality in all job duties.
This person must exhibit an appreciation for, a sensitivity to and respect for a diverse academic environment; inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of many social, economic, cultural, ideological, racial and ethnic backgrounds.
A high school diploma, one year of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required.
A Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant work experience are preferred.
*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Processes all incoming Honor Code reports and management of the Maxient database system related to Honor Code Violations
Sends alleged violation notices and other communication to students, faculty, and the Honor Council
Provides assistance to the Director of the Office of Academic Integrity which can include audits, analytic reports, creation of letter templates, and updates to the Maxient database system
Assist with records checks for the department and FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) requests
Provides assistance with the review and processing of incoming sanctions and the placement of Banner registration holds
Provides support for phone calls, office guests, and correspondence
Assists with departmental conduct record checks and registration holds
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
Ability to comply with university policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
