The Department of Student Activities is looking for an Associate Director for Student Union and Productions that will manage and ensure that the Bill Daniel Student Center is a space focused on student engagement and success including facilities usage, design, and continual re-imagination efforts.
A Master's degree, three years of experience and an active Christian faith are required.
A Master's degree and five years of experience is preferred.
Candidates must have the ability to embody the Baylor culture and possess a deep appreciation for the University's Christian mission.
A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
*Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What Will You Do
The AD oversees risk management and innovative programmatic elements for major university traditions including Dr Pepper Hour, Howdy, Staycation Weekend, After Dark, Delta Night Live, Fright Night, Pigskin Revue, Chili Cookoff Bed Races, Christmas on 5th, Midnight Breakfast, All-University Sing, Gateway to India, Lu'au, Stompfest, Gospel Fest, Fiesta, Jubilee and will be primarily charged with the following responsibilities:
Provides oversight for the Bill Daniel Student Center
Coordinates traditional All-University programming and management of staff responsible for Student Productions
Advises the University programming board Baylor Activities Council
Supervises 2 Assistant Directors and indirectly 2 Graduate Apprentices and Student Staff of 50+
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
