We serve McLennan, Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, and Limestone counties.

Trauma-Informed Care means treating the person as a whole, taking into account past trauma and the resulting coping mechanisms when attempting to understand behaviors.
Our goal is to provide effective treatment as well as improving the quality and impact of care.
The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the Challenging Behavior Program and the grant funded HHSC focused autism treatment program provides community and clinical based comprehensive and/or focused treatment to children, adolescents, and adults with IDD, including Autism.
Services include assessment of the purpose of challenging behavior, language, self-care, social skills, academics, behavior function, etc.
; development, training, implementation, evaluation, and monitoring of behavior intervention plans; development and updating of treatment objectives; consultation to schools and families; and client, staff and family training.
Position requires extensive hands-on behavior intervention directly with clients, parents, and staff.
Clients present challenges that may include lack of communication skills, physical aggression, property destruction or self-injurious behaviors.
Knowledge, Skills, and Essential Functions: - Excellent written communication and computer keyboarding for inputting clinical documentation.
- Excellent verbal communication with clients, staff, and community providers.
- Time management and organization required to meet service goals.
- Local travel to client homes, school, group homes, and other community settings.
65% of time will be spent traveling locally and 35% of time will be spent on regional travel.
- Stooping, bending, sitting, standing, keyboarding for prolonged periods, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to be CPR and PMAB certified.
- A valid Texas driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation to get to work is required.
Education and Experience: - Master’s Degree with Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst required.
- Experience providing behavior support beyond the work provided for certification purposes preferred.
