Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of customers
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and dishwashers
- Monitor food quality and consistency to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments, such as banquet and catering, to coordinate food service for special events
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a hotel or catering setting
- In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality food
Note: Experience in coffee, banquet, bartending, or assistant manager roles would be considered an asset.
