Job Description
The Claims Supervisor oversees the Analysts and Underwriters within the Claims Team.
This role is responsible for service, quality, and production while ensuring the Claims team satisfies the needs and expectations of all clients.
Your Day to Day
Supervise Claims personnel to achieve effective and efficient processing of claims.
Provides and details daily, quarterly, and yearly goals to the team and department that will maximize team and department success.
In partnership with the Manager, responsible for the overall success of hiring, training, coaching, and handling of all personnel actions for the department.
Cover duties of employees in various positions when they are out of the office.
Complete and distribute claim reports.
Identify and promptly resolve sensitive or problem case situations involving customers and agents.
Research state complaints and write the required correspondence.
Provide information and assist with audits or examinations.
Identify improvements needed in the department.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
As business demands or at management’s discretion, other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
Conduct Company business in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.
Behave ethically and with integrity and always follow the principles of the Compliance Program when making business decisions.

What You Have
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
5 years prior office experience
2 years prior experience as a supervisor
