General Summary
Assists and supports day to day activities of the loan officer.
Processes and tracks loan documents by performing the following duties:
Essential Functions
Writes up worksheets, applications, loan agreements, inspections and HMDA worksheets
Handles courthouse/County Clerk filings; titles, etc.
Creates a temporary file and track documents for all real estate loans
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
Acts as the communicator with our credit analyst (Michelle Harris in Cameron)
Processes written correspondence to customers and others
Reviews applications and perform debt to income calculations
Becomes familiar with and uses Connections
Writes demand letters
Keeps the Excel spreadsheet postings
Opens and processes supervisor’s mail and answers phone calls
Assists with keeping all files in order, and imaged
Becomes proficient in documentation requirements as per loan type
Prepares entries to be posted (GL tickets, journal entries, online posting, and wire out forms)
AFT/ACH setup
Reviews all loan packages for required documentation and errors
Works loan officer’s exception lists, assisting in obtaining follow-up documentation as well as keeping the loan officer apprised of outstanding items
Coordinates and communicates with Branch Manager to assist with rotations of opening, closing, lunch periods, etc.
; particularly at small branch locations
Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma/GED Required
Banking experience preferred
Experience with 10-key calculator
Working Conditions
Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken and written word
May be required to stand or sit for long periods of time
May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
Exposure to a potentially hazardous condition robbery.
