Appraiser Assistant

The Freestone Central Appraisal District is accepting applications for an Appraiser’s Assistant.
Applicant must be a high school graduate, willing to work outdoors in all seasons, and able to interact with people in person and on the phone.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (or similar software) and ability to speak Spanish a plus but not a requirement.
Successful applicant will be responsible for assisting appraisers with the physical inspections of properties in the county for ad valorum tax purposes, performing data entry in the appraisal software as instructed by the appraisers, and provide customer service to the general public.
