Couple Moving To Texas (Waco)

My fiance and I are looking to build a life in waco.
I have family out there but they have no room for us.
My fiance is a wildland firefighter but it's is off season.
He is also a diesel mechanic and has experience welding and general mechanic skills as well.
I have 10+ yes customer service experience (food retail).
We need a private room that is affirdable ,clean and a bed.
He can also do yard work if that helps.
We are good people.
No drugs etc.
Please no weird requests.
Need a place to stay while we get employment and pay rent.
