We are an established criminal defense law firm in Waco, Texas.
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Student Outreach Coordinator to join our team.
In this role, you will play a key part in our community outreach efforts, focusing on educating students on their rights and how to navigate the criminal justice system.
This is the perfect position for a motivated student who is interested in criminal justice or just seeking experience in the areas of marketing and business development.
Compensation:
$10 - $15 hourly
Responsibilities:
Outreach to student organizations, fraternities, and sororities to arrange presentations.
Collaborate with students to determine topics and issues to cover in presentations.
Conduct educational presentations to inform students about their legal rights.
Promote presentations through our firm's online platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube).
Assist with general office tasks, including filing and preparing outgoing mail.
Qualifications:
Student Status: Currently enrolled as a student at a local college or university.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with student organizations and deliver educational presentations.
Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, to assist with the online promotion of presentations.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with student organizations and collaborate effectively.
Self-motivated: A self-starter who can take initiative in planning and organizing outreach efforts and presentations.
Creativity: The ability to contribute creative ideas for presentation topics and engagement strategies.
