Job Responsibilities:
The Advertising Specialist is responsible for working with department leadership in assisting the agency force in the administration of local advertising efforts and marketing programs.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
Conduct thorough research on local markets to identify advertising opportunities, target demographics, and competitive landscape.
Analyze data and trends to make informed recommendations on advertising strategies.
Work closely with the agency force to understand their business goals, target audience, and unique selling propositions.
Provide guidance on developing effective advertising campaigns tailored to the local market(s).
Create and design compelling advertisements within company brand guidelines for various local channels, including print, digital and community sponsorship events.
Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to produce visually appealing and engaging materials.
Interact with local media outlets, including newspapers, radio stations and online platforms, to help negotiate and secure prime advertising placements.
Manage relationships with advertising vendors and help to negotiate cost effective deals.
Support agency force in developing and managing their local advertising budgets and allocate their resources most effectively.
Assist with monitoring advertising campaign expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Comply with the Certified Fleet Operator requirements of the Company Driving and Safety Policy.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university.
Preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications.
Ability to motivate, manage, and work collaboratively across functions and stakeholders at all levels.
Project management experience required.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 programs.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including excellent presentation skills.
Valid Texas Driver’s license and driving record at the time of hire which would not place the employee on probation or disqualify the employee from Certified Fleet Operator status, and the Driving and Safety Policy.
