Summary Now is the time to join us and make a difference! The Marketing Intern will be provided with opportunities to be introduced and gain valuable experience of what it would be like to be a Marketing Specialist at Cotton working on dynamic Marketing projects.
The position is scheduled for part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) over an 8-week period beginning on 6/5/2023 and concluding on 7/28/2023.
The internship experience is intended to be professional development and training.
This position is designed to complement schooling/training and/or other work experience.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator by providing support to the department in their everyday roles.
Duties and responsibilities will include: Support the marketing team’s daily activities Assist with search engine optimization Produce assets for web, email marketing, social media and digital platforms Assist with website edits & content creation Assist in creating & executing digital marketing campaigns Assist in creation, planning & management of social media content Distribute/manage inventory of marketing materials and assets Assist in creation, update & management of presentations Assist in planning & organization of company events Skills, Knowledge and Expertise TO QUALIFY: We will consider any combination of relevant work experience, volunteering, education, and transferable skills as qualifying unless an item or section is labeled required.

Must be able to work minimum of 20 - 30 hours per week Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university Required Qualifications: Experience, knowledge and skills that would make you successful in this internship Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to stay on task, work independently and ask for assistance when needed Ability to follow safe-work practices, safely navigate a construction site Flexibility to take on a range of assignments Ability to organize multiple details; able to multi-task.
Valid Driver’s License 21 years or older Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements: Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Requires ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
Requires ability to operate a keyboard if required performing the essential job functions.
Requires ability to read and interpret a document.
Requires ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
Requires ability to move freely about the office building and other site locations within the organization.
