Hotsy-Carlson, an industry leading equipment distributor with over fifty years of operations in Central Texas, is seeking a sales representative with a proven track record to manage and develop Hotsy accounts in the WACO and TEMPLE, Texas area.
Position professionally demonstrates pressure washer products, builds relationships with customers throughout territory and generates new leads for business.
Ideally individual will have proven sales background with at least 3 years of experience.
Qualified candidates must be self-starters, have good mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills.

*Essential Job Duties and Functions*
Identify new customers by engaging in prospecting sales calls and in-person visits.
Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts.
Manage business relationships with current clients by uncovering new or additional products/services to meet clients’ needs.
Respond to RFQs and bids in a timely manners including proposal design and presentation.
Negotiate with prospects and clients to find optimal price point meeting company and customer needs.
Keeps management informed by submitting activity reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
Works closely with operations and service team to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.

This position generally works in a field sales environment calling on clients and prospects.
Some work may be completed in an indoor air conditioned office environment.
May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles or moving machine parts.
May be often exposed to diesel fuel, gasoline, and grease.
*Physical Demands*
The physical demands of this position may require lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds.
Will require driving, walking, bending and carrrying of items.

Strong communication and negotiation skills
Demonstrated ability to hit sales quotas
Driver's license

Three + years of previous sales experience.

This position requires the use of computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word and other proprietary software.
Responsible for proactively resolving customer issues to secure and maintain business.
May also be asked to perform other tasks when needed, including making deliveries, answering the phone or covering office duty.
