As a Foreman, you will become part of a team of stellar team members who are highly valued and skilled.
You will get to put your technical and mathematical skills to use operating tools and machinery.
Capstone is looking for highly motivated HVAC Foremen who are responsible for ensuring all crew’s assigned duties related to HVAC installation and maintenance, daily quality control and safety activities, and ensure that facility housekeeping objectives are understood and followed, working under the general direction of the Field Supervisor.
The Foreman also acts as resource and lead position for their crew members.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 1.
Plans and executes each job according to allotted schedule and hours 2.
Ensures everything is installed per code, plans, specifications and details 3.
Coordinates with superintendent and other trades on site to simplify installations and reduce conflict 4.
Trains assigned crew, providing technical guidance and direction and identifies those capable of becoming job foreman 5.
Ensures proper maintenance is performed on equipment to maintain safe and economical operations 6.
Inspects equipment and diagnoses malfunctions, using test instruments 7.
Keeps necessary records of installations and repairs performed on equipment to comply with government requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures 8.
Completes all required paperwork using basic math skills as needed 9.
Informs Field Supervisor of changes, upset conditions or emergencies within the department 10.
Ensures worksite is kept clear and clean from debris and trash 11.
