As a Helper - HVAC, you will become part of a team of stellar employees who are highly valued and skilled.
You will get to put your mechanical, technical, and mathematical skills to use operating tools and machinery.
Capstone is looking for highly motivated Helpers with some experience in duct installation.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 1.
Learn trade from leadman and take initiative in performing tasks 2.
Serve and support leadman in completing tasks at hand 3.
Keep worksite clear and clean from debris and trash 4.
Help to keep shop and vehicles clean 5.
Assist with installation and maintenance tasks 6.
Assist with paperwork involving basic math skills Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent No experience required, entry level job Basic math and computer Mechanically inclined Working knowledge, understanding, and ability to comply with all Federal, State, Local, and Company regulations, policies, guidelines, and procedures, including use of tools (hand and power tools - tape measure, screwdriver, Allen wrench, nut driver, wrench, socket and magnetic (chuck) sets; dikes, plumb bob, lineman and needle nose pliers, Panduit gun, Schrader core remover, 410A & R-22 gauges, duct hammer, knife, crescent wrench, torpedo and 4” level, razor knife, cleat tool, pipe wrench, crimpers, bending tongs, tubing cutters and benders (3/8), PVC cutters, Whitney punch, multi-meter, drill bits, service wrench with insert, red & green snips, staple gun, cordless combo kit) and other equipment such as operation(s) of forklift, man-lift or other vertical lifting equipment Team oriented, flexible, and able to work independently Required to complete certifications and training for job level and show competency in assigned tasks under general supervision Ability to follow and understand technical instructions Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
