Big Creek Construction is seeking concrete laborers, form setters and finishers in the Waco, TX and Groesbeck, TX areas.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Spread concrete to the specified depth using a concrete vibrator or hand tools
• Level, Smooth, and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete, using a straight edge and float or power screed.
• Finish concrete surfaces using power trowel, broom, or hand trowel
• Remove rough or defective spots from concrete with abrasive stone or grinder and create a textured or broomed finished surface.
• mold expansion joins and edges using edging tools, jointers and straight edge.
• May break up and repair old concrete surfaces using pneumatic tools.
• Lift, carry, and hold construction materials, tools, and supplies
• Clean tools, equipment, materials and work areas.
Qualifications
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Must be able to pass a physical and drug/breath alcohol screen
