Job Description
As a Robotic Industrial Technician, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining our robotic automation systems within our manufacturing facility.
Your primary responsibilities will include operating, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining robotic equipment to ensure seamless production processes.
Responsibilities:
Machine Operation:
Operate robotic systems according to established procedures.
Monitor the production process to ensure quality and efficiency.
Load and unload materials as needed.
Programming and Calibration:
Develop and modify robotic programs to meet production requirements.
Calibrate and fine-tune robotic systems for precision and accuracy.
Optimize robot paths and motions for maximum productivity.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Perform routine maintenance on robotic systems to ensure they operate at peak efficiency.
Diagnose and repair malfunctions or defects in robotic equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to prevent downtime.
Quality Control:
Monitor robotic processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
Collaborate with quality control teams to implement improvements in quality assurance.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards related to robotic operations.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of machine operation, maintenance activities, and repairs.
Generate reports on equipment performance and suggest improvements.
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering and production teams to integrate robotic solutions into manufacturing processes.
Provide technical support to operators and production staff as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in robotics or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a machine operator or robotic technician in an industrial setting.
Proficiency in robotic programming languages (e.
g.
, KUKA, Fanuc, ABB).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair robotic systems.
Knowledge of industrial automation systems, PLCs, and control systems.
Familiarity with safety protocols and practices in an industrial environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
