Job Description A Construction Field Technical Supervisor for a PEMB supplier plays a critical role in ensuring that PEMB projects are completed successfully, with minimal disruptions, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities: Inspect and assess field issues reported by installation teams or clients.
Analyze the nature and extent of issues, including structural, design, or material-related concerns.
Develop effective solutions to address field issues promptly.
Collaborate with engineers, design teams and project management team to devise engineering solutions when necessary.
Ensure that issue resolutions align with project specifications and safety standards.
Provide on-site support to installation crews and field personnel Assist in diagnosing and resolving issues in real-time, offering technical guidance and expertise Implement quality control measures to prevent recurring issues.
Review and verify the quality of field work, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards Identify opportunities for process improvements to minimize future issues Maintain detailed records of field issues, including photographs, descriptions, and corrective actions taken.
Prepare comprehensive reports to document issue resolution progress.
Track and monitor the status of ongoing issues until they are fully resolved.
Interact with clients, building owners, and project stakeholders to address concerns and provide updates on issue resolution Ensure clear and transparent communication to maintain client satisfaction.
Offer technical support and guidance to installation teams, assisting them in overcoming challenges and obstacles Train installation crews on best practices for addressing common field issues.
Collaborate with various project teams, including engineers, project managers, and field personnel, to facilitate issue resolution.
Work closely with design and engineering teams to develop long-term solutions to recurring problems Be prepared to respond to emergency situations, such as structural failures or safety incidents Implement emergency procedures and protocols as needed.
Participate in post-project evaluations to identify root causes of field issues and areas for process improvement.
Proposed enhancements to installation processes and procedures to reduce the occurrence of issues.
Analyze client feedback and reports to identify patterns and trends in field issues.
Use client feedback to drive improvements in product design and installation practices.
Provide training and guidance to team members on issue prevention and resolution strategies.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the field teams.
Qualifications: Proficiency in construction methods, techniques, and best practices.
Understanding of structural engineering principles and PEMB systems.
Familiarity with project blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Strong leadership and management skills to lead and motivate field teams.
Ability to make quick decisions and effectively delegate tasks.
Capability to handle challenging situations and resolve conflicts.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
