Job Summary:
The Hydro Technician/Operator closes pressure vessels and performs pressure tests according to blueprint specifications.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1.
Close pressure vessels in preparation for pressure testing.
2.
Conduct pressure tests on pressure vessels to ensure integrity and compliance with specifications.
3.
Follow proper safety procedures and protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
4.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for the task at hand.
5.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or team leaders.

Trainable and willing to learn new skills and procedures.
2.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
3.
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
4.
Ability to consistently lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
5.
Comfortable working on ladders and at heights as needed.
6.
Capable of standing and walking for extended periods, up to 10-12 hours per shift.
7.
Physically fit and able to bend, lift, stretch, and reach both below the waist and above the head as required by the job.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant industry experience is advantageous but not required.
- Training in pressure testing procedures and equipment operation may be provided on the job.
