Summary (Scope of the Job)
The Project manager - Roofing will provide direction and coordination of a project.
This includes all aspects of the project to include performance, administration, documentation, safety, and customer contact.
This person will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and production for job sites.
Key Responsibilities
Position requirements and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
To develop and nurture business relationships with adjusters, property owners, facility managers and any other clientele that can provide commercial work.
To assist in preparing scopes of work/estimates.
Must adhere to company protocol, policies, accounting procedures and reporting requirements.
Performing the work within the guidelines of Target and ensuring that a contract is signed
Determining when to extend beyond standard protocol to resolve any potential issues or secure potential work
Coordinate delivery of materials
Organized plan of daily accounting for materials at job site are accurate and correct quantities are received daily
Manage project completion and conduct final walk with customer
Determining the best way to meet the needs of the client and the adjuster
Winning in a competitive bidding situation
Conflict resolution with customers / adjusters
Ability to travel for extended periods of time
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Experience:
Heavy roofing project knowledge REQUIRED
OSHA 10 or 30-hour a plus
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of workflow procedures and systems
Microsoft Office applications
Proven organizational, problem solving, and communication skills
Proven communication skills and ability to build relationships
Good driving record
Minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age and have a minimum of three (3) years verifiable driving experience
No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
No repeat seat belt violations
No high-speed moving violations in the past 3 years
