*Job Description:*
We are currently seeking a skilled Payroll Clerk to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in payroll administration and a strong attention to detail.
As a Payroll Clerk at Johnson Roofing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.
*Responsibilities:*
- Process payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime hours as needed.
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees.
- Maintain payroll records and employee information in accordance with confidentiality and data protection policies.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
- Assist with payroll reporting and analysis as required.
- Stay updated on changes to payroll regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
*Qualifications:*
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Some experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software (experience with ComputerEase or similar systems is a plus).
- Bi-lingual strongly encouraged to apply

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
