*Job Overview:*
We are looking for a highly skilled Veterinary Technician (Licensed Veterinary Technician highly preferred).
Our Veterinary Technicians assist in procedures, providing care for animals including physical examinations, dental procedures, surgeries, immunizations, and more.
They are also involved in client education, marketing, and inventory management.
Veterinary Technicians also communicate with clients regularly regarding patient medical history, Veterinarian's instructions, and rechecks.
This position requires a working knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, common diseases, their symptoms, means of transmission, treatment and prevention, and other basic preventative health care recommendations, as well as good communication and active listening skills.
Veterinary Technicians are an integral part of our team and help us fulfill our purpose of supporting, healing, and enriching lives everyday.
*Skills/Education Required:*
Previous Experience as a Veterinary Technician with a high level of technical skill is required.
Licensed Veterinary Technician is highly preferred
Pay rate is commensurate with experience and skill.
