CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities: * Provide assistance with activities of daily living (i.
e.
bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care) according to the plan of care * Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents * Observe and report any changes in resident’s health status to the Charge Nurse on an ongoing basis.
* Report to supervisor throughout shift * Document all care given and observations made while giving care * Contribute knowledge of residents conditions/needs to resident care plans * Attend all in-service education programs required of nursing assistants Skills and Requirements: * State certification as a nursing assistant mandatory.
* Familiarity with duties of a certified nursing assistant.
* Good observation skills.
* Functional literacy in English is required.
