What We Are Looking For
Baylor University is seeking a Staff Psychologist or a Staff Clinician to support the mission of the university by providing students individual, couple and group counseling, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and outreach programming that fosters personal growth and development.
If applying as a Staff Psychologist, a Doctoral degree and an active Christian faith are required.
Applicant must be licensed as a psychologist in Texas or be license eligible.
Two years of relevant work experience are preferred.
If applying as a Staff Clinician, a Masters degree and an active Christian faith are required.
Applicant must currently hold a fully independent license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
Two years of relevant work experience are preferred.
*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Provide individual, couples, group therapy, initial assessment, crisis intervention and consultation
Provide training/clinical supervision to Counseling Center in areas of experience and expertise
Develop and present workshops, seminars and other outreach programs to students, faculty and staff
Consult with faculty and staff to identify problems in order to make appropriate referrals
Provide after-hours on-call service on a rotating basis with other clinicians
Maintain appropriate and current records on clients; ensure confidentiality
Represent the Counseling Center in a professional manner that supports Baylor University
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
Ability to comply with university policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Demonstrate a committed Christian faith and lifestyle consistent with the mission of Baylor University.
