Substitute Nurse (pool)

Qualifications: Education/Certification: Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program Valid registered nurse license (RN) from the Texas Board of Nursing Current automatic external defibrillator (AED) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificates A substitute nurse must be able to: Assess and manage health needs of the campus Be able to function autonomously Have strong assessment skills Requirements: - Please supply full social security number so that background check can be run - Make sure to put your name including middle name as it appears on your drivers license - Bachelor's degree or higher will be asked to provide an official certified copy of your transcript.
- Substitute training is required for anyone that is not a certified teacher.
You will receive an email about this training when your application is being processed.
- Fingerprinting is required at a cost of $50 or so (you will be upoladed to have fingerprints done once your application and references are back).
