What we are looking for
The Baylor University Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate.
This position will work directly with Dr.
Diane Loeb, Professor and Dr.
Kristen Muller, Assistant Professor.
The person hired for this position will work on projects aimed at advancing early assessment and intervention with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), typically developing children, children born preterm, and children with language delays.
Required:
PhD in Speech Language Pathology
Research and clinical experience and training in early assessment and early intervention.
Established quantitative and qualitative research skills
Excellence in scientific written and oral communication skills
Preferred:
Strong verbal and written communication skills,
Exceptional time management skills including the accurate estimate of timelines & adherence to deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Experience in working with young children, infants, toddlers strongly preferred

What you will do:
Provide assistance with the preparation of project-related reports, grants, manuscripts and presentations
Conduct research design and oversee experiments
Develop and establish experimental procedures
Recruit participants
Prepare and manage extensive databases
Develop and implement research quality control procedures
Analyze data and prepare reports; develop recommendations based on results
Verify the accuracy and validity of data
Work with highly technical and complex research instruments
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
