What We Are Looking For
The Program Manager, Physician Assistant Program position will support the mission of Baylor University in the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences by coordinating and managing the administrative operations of the Physician Assistant Studies program.
This includes program development and implementation, assisting faculty members in providing high-quality didactic education, and addressing compliance with University policies and outside agency accreditation requirements.
This position assists the Program Director (PD) to ensure efficient, effective operations throughout the PA program while coordinating with Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences and other University departments as necessary.
A Bachelor's degree, three years of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required.
Five years of relevant work experience is preferred.
A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do Essential Functions Assist PD to serve as central point of administrative contact for the PA program.
Under the guidance of the Program Director, manage and coordinate the logistical demands of the PA program's daily operations, including budgeted fiscal allocations.
Manage faculty, staff, student, and program documents in compliance with all university, program, and accrediting agency policies and standards.
Collaborate with program leadership to coordinate travel arrangements, authorizations, and expense reimbursements.
Contribute insights and recommendations to strategic planning, program assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in the preparation of accreditation documentation and outcomes performance assessment.
Arrange needed instructional technology support for faculty and staff through collaboration with university IT departments.
Support general student needs throughout all phases of the program.
Serve as an administrative liaison for the PA program in interactions and correspondence with other departments within the university and/or outside agencies.
Participate in PA program and university meetings and sponsored events as requested.
Ability to be physically present for some on-campus responsibilities.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance, which includes the ability to occasionally work non-standard hours (i.
e.
, evenings, weekends, holidays) as needed for program events or urgent needs related to program operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director to support Baylor's mission.
Collect, analyze, and present data and associated reports to the PD as required for the management of program outcomes for the purposes of program evaluation.
Assist PD to maintain an environment that supports faculty, staff, and students working together for the attainment of program goals and objectives.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission.
Ability to comply with University policies.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Secondary Functions Attend faculty and staff meetings, participate in PA program community service projects as time permits.
Perform other duties as assigned by the PA Program Director.
Level of Independence: This position may have the authority to commit the employer in matters that have financial impact.
Advanced knowledge is required in planning and completing assignments, resolving conflicts and coordinating work with others.
This position has the authority to make certain essential function decisions in communication, but not without direction from the PD.
Job Requirements: The position requires significant contact with students, faculty, and staff and with internal and external constituents for coordination of PA program administrative efforts.
Works closely with the PA Program Director to ensure a coordinated approach to efficient, effective operations.
Occasional travel is an expectation and requirement of this position and may include some on-campus responsibilities.
Majority of work can be completed remotely.
Travel to Waco, TX for occasional meetings on average once per trimester is required.

The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $50,000 - $53,000.
The full salary range for this position classification is $42,974.
