What We Are Looking For
Baylor University is looking for a Risk Management Program Manager to assist the Risk Management department in all areas of risk including insurance renewal, Certificate Management, Event approval, driver training and contract review.
A Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience is required along with an active Christian faith.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Hybrid work will be considered on a case by case basis.
A preference will be given to candidates with the carrier claims experience and/or broker claim advocate experience.
What Will You Do
This position will assist the Risk Management department in all areas of risk including insurance renewal, Certificate Management, Event approval, driver training and contract review.
Gather underwriting information from campus partners, facilitate renewal documents, and maintain insurance policies
Review contracts between the University and outside vendors/facilities, determine the scope and provisions required, review Certificates to ensure compliance, and initiate issuance of Certificates from Universities insurance broker.
Serve as point of contact for all claims, work with campus partners for investigation details, interface with the insurance carriers/broker and oversee until closure, facilitate review and payment of uninsured losses
Will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the the Universities Driving program through running MVR's, assigning driver training and interacting with variety of campus partners to ensure compliance.
Establish relationships with internal and external clients to provide support for University programs
Manage all records and prepare reports; develop and maintain all program databases
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
