As an EEG Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations on patients using specialized equipment to record and analyze brain activity.
This is a critical role in our healthcare facility, as the results of these tests help physicians diagnose and treat neurological disorders.
```Duties``` - Prepare patients for EEG procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort - Apply electrodes to the patient's scalp according to the international 10-20 system - Operate EEG equipment to record and monitor brain activity during the procedure - Monitor vital signs of patients throughout the test - Recognize and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the procedure - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of test results - Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results ```Qualifications``` To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Certification as an EEG Technician or equivalent experience - Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology - Proficiency in operating EEG equipment and interpreting test results - Familiarity with CT scans and other diagnostic imaging techniques - Excellent attention to detail and ability to recognize abnormalities in brain activity - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals If you are passionate about helping patients and have a strong background in EEG technology, we encourage you to apply for this position.
