We are looking for full-time / PRN / Contract nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
Preference for full time resource, however contract available.
For full time this will include alternating weekends.
For PRN there will be anywhere from 2-4 shifts available per week.
Individual will be a solo practitioner so some experience is required.
These will be 12 hour shifts.
Support staffing will include one front office receptionist, one MA, and one x-ray tech.
Patient volume is usually 1-2 per hour.

The responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will include:
* Order and interpret indicated diagnostic testing based upon evidence-based medicine (EBM) and clinical practice guidelines (CPG)
* Utilize AdvancedMD electronic medical record (EMR)
* Perform minor procedures including but not limited to suturing and neoplasm removal
* Counseling and educating patients on health behaviors, self-care skills and treatment options
* Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses, infections and injuries
* Diagnosing, treating, and monitoring chronic diseases (e.
g.
, diabetes, high blood pressure)
* Obtaining medical histories and conducting physical examinations
* Ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic studies (e.
g.
, lab tests, x-rays, EKGs)
* Prescribing medications
* Prescribing physical therapy and other rehabilitation treatments
* Providing prenatal care and family planning services
* Providing well-child care, including screening and immunizations
* Providing health maintenance care for adults, including annual physicals
* See patients 12 months and older
