What We Are Looking For
This position supports Baylor University's mission by serving as a Staff Pharmacist in the university Health Center.
The role of this position is dispensing and counseling of prescriptions, encourage and support students as they learn to actively promote their health care.
A Doctoral degree, three years of relevant experience and an active Christian faith are required.
A Doctoral degree and five years of relevant work experience are preferred.
*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Dispensing prescription medications on a provider's order
Counseling patients on use of prescriptions
Assisting the Chief Pharmacist in the daily operation of the Pharmacy
Supervise pharmacy personnel in the absence of the Chief Pharmacist
Maintaining purchasing card records and reconciling statements monthly
Ordering pharmacy supplies
Purchase brand and generic medications at best price
Purchasing immunizations
Maintain all certification and license required of a pharmacist
Complete required continuing education
Attend and support Student Life and Health Center programs
Complete all required HR and health center training
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
