Kennel Technician

Responsibilities: _*Urgent shifts needed*__:_ Monday-Friday 8am-10am _Monday 4pm-6pm_ _Wednesday 4pm-6pm_ Thursday _4pm-6pm_ \*\**With the option to pick up shifts\*\** _*Must be 17 years or older to apply*_ We are looking for dedicated, animal loving, team members.
The Kennel staff are the backbone of our organization.
We are a small non-profit dog rescue located in Bosque County.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn more about dogs and become more involved in the animal rescue world.
Must be willing to work with all breeds of dogs as we do not discriminate here at BARK.
Willing to treat our animals as if they were your own.
Job Duties Include: Cleaning kennels, handling dogs, feeding and water, enrichment activities, engaging and caring for the dogs, administering meds and medical attention if needed, walking dogs, being able to lift 50+lbs.
You must be willing to volunteer a little time (3 hours minimum) each month to help get your favorite dogs adopted.
Kennel experience is a plus but not necessary, as we will train.
We require strong communication skills, as we are a team and you will have a kennel worker who you partner with each shift.
Communication is key to our dogs' safety as well as our staff.

* Be able to use proper cleaning products.
