Dental Patient Care Coordinator
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival at the medical office
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of provider's time
- Collect and update patient demographic and insurance information
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers as needed
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of medical documentation
- Process billing and insurance claims, including verifying coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal patient care
